WHAT: Special Anchorage Assembly Meeting
WHERE: Assembly Chambers at the Loussac Library
WHEN: Wednesday February 27, 5-11pm (you don’t have to stay for the whole time)
WHY: The Assembly will be hearing public testimony on the Mayor’s rewrite of the muni’s labor laws, A.O. 37, which will severely restrict bargaining for unionized employees at the municipality.
PARKING: APEA will be running a shuttle between our offices at 3310 Arctic Blvd., suite 200 and the Assembly Chambers. We expect several thousand people to turn out on Wednesday, which will make parking a problem. Come park at our offices!
